Kimbriki is excited to welcome Margaret Mossakowska from Moss House to conduct a Food Preserving Workshop at the Eco House.

Venue: Kimbriki Eco House & Garden 
The Eco House & Garden Learning Centre is located within the Kimbriki Resource Recovery Centre, Kimbriki Road, Ingleside. Please enter via the Weighbridge and speak to the Operator before proceeding. 

Cost:  $50 per person

Margaret's passion for healthy, natural living has led her to share her knowledge and skills with others. This workshop will empower you and increase your confidence and ability to live healthier. 

In this workshop, participants will learn some theory behind preserving foods, visit our HempCrete preserving room in the Eco Garden, try some preserved products and use a preserving technique to make a jar to take home. 

Find out about salting, drying, boiling with sugar, smoking, canning and many other ways to keep seasonal harvest lasting for months. These powerful practical skills can then be taken home. You will be supported with a detailed handout of all the important points from the theory session as well as recipes. 

Book in fast as spaces are limited to 25 people. First in best preserved!
